Mazagon Dock, NHPC, Mahindra, LIC Q3 Results Today — Earnings Estimates
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is the only Nifty 50 company to announce its quarterly results today.
Major companies announcing their December quarter results Friday include defence major Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd., hydroelectric power generator NHPC Ltd. and pharmaceutical multinational Alkem Laboratories Ltd.
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders is expected to post net profit of Rs 706 crore against a revenue of Rs 3,095 crore for the three months to December 2024, according to analysts polled by Bloomberg. The Mumbai-based shipbuilder has posted revenue of Rs 2,363 crore in the year-ago period and profit of Rs 591 crore.
NHPC is estimates to report revenue to the tune of Rs 2,246 crore, and a net profit of Rs 633 crore for the quarter under review, as per Bloomberg data. The energy producer had clocked Rs 1,697 crore in revenue and Rs 546 crore net profit in the corresponding period previous year.
The lone Nifty 50 company announcing its earnings for December quarter today is Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Insurance behemoth Life Insurance Corp. of India and petroleum firm Oil India Ltd. will also announce their results today.
The Scorpio maker had a good run in sales during January. It had posted Rs 2,564.2 crore in revenue and Rs 2,453 crore in net profit.
Meanwhile, LIC had posted net premium income of Rs 1.17 lakh crore in the year-ago period. Net profit stood at Rs 9,444 crore.
