Here are the stocks to watch out for in today's session:
NHPC
- The government-run company made an offer to buyback 81.13 crore of its equity shares at Rs 32.25 per share, rounding up to an aggregate of Rs 2,616 crore.
- While a buyback offer should not exceed 10 percent of the aggregate fully paid up capital, this offer constitutes 7.33 percent of the total shares.
Wipro
- The information technology company offered an IoT based solution from Hewlett Packard Enterprise to wind parks and wind turbine manufacturers, namely Power Wind Parks and Wind Turbine Manufacturers.

- Prism Cement: The company made a bid for 18,300 tonnes per annum of coal in an auction from South Eastern Coalfields, securing its part fuel requirements for the next five years. The coal was bough at a "nominal premium over the floor price", according to the statement to the exchanges.
- Adani Ports & SEZ: The company bought back 2,500 debentures at an aggregate price of Rs 10,71,250.
- Bharat Financial Inclusion: The company issued commercial papers worth Rs 250 crore on February 28, with an 'A1+'rating.
- Punjab & Sind Bank: The lender changed the interest rate on term deposits of 7-14 days to 4 percent, according to its notification to the exchanges.
D-Link (India): The company partnered with its subsidiary, Team F1 Networks to deliver cloud based device management platform and cloud based access points for small and medium sized businesses.- Thomas Cook India: The travel agency announced an initiative called "The Grand Indian Holiday Sale" in order to expand India's travel market. The annual property includes 10 day sale offers for Indian travelers with a discount of up to Rs 40,000.
- Majesco: Company announced the launch of two new solutions, Majesco Enterprise Data Model and Majesco Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Surya Roshni: The company's newly built steel pipe plant in Andhra Pradesh will begin operations from March 1, 2017.
- Thiru Arooran Sugars: ICRA upgraded the company's long term rating to ICRA B+ from ICRA D. The short term rating has also been upgraded to ICRA A4 from ICRA D, the company notified to the exchanges.
- Metalyst: The company is looking for the shareholder's approval to issue 4.4 million equity shares and 2.4 million convertible warrants to its promoter, Amtek Auto, for Rs 100 each.
- Castex Technologies: The company is looking for the shareholder's approval to issue 39 million equity shares and 40 million convertible warrants to its promoter, Amtek Auto, for Rs 15 each.
- NBCC: The government-run company's shareholders approved a bonus issue in the ratio 1:2.
- Bank of Baroda: Brickwork Ratings India upgraded the lender's stock outlook to stable from negative on the upper tier bonds of the bank.

- Idea Cellular: Goldman Sachs India Fund bought 0.63 percent of the telecom company's shares for Rs 107.1 per share.
- Prabhat Dairy: Nirmal Family Trust, the company's promotor entity, bought 4.35 percent of its shares for Rs 128.75 per share.
- Grasim Industries: Barclays Global Fund AdvisorsA/C IShares India Mauritius C bought 1.3 percent in the company for Rs 990.23 per share.
- Manappuram Finance: Barclays Merchant Bank (Singapore) purchased 3.8 percent in the company for Rs 97.3 per share from Baring India Private Equity Fund Fund III Listed Investments.
- Shilpa Medicare: Barclays Merchant Bank (Singapore) bought 2 percent shares in the company for rs 651 per share from CLSA Global Markets.
- Tata Sponge Iron: HSBC Global Investment Funds A/C purchased 0.95 percent in the company for Rs 646.54 per share.
