The Nifty Futures on the Singapore Exchange, an early indicator of Nifty's performance in India, fell 0.15 percent to 8,602.

Here are the stocks to watch out for in today's session:

  • Dr. Reddy's Laboratories: Announces new strategic deal with Gland Pharma in the U.S. Market to market eight ANDAs in United States.
  • Union Bank of India: To raise Rs 2,900 crore by March 31, 2017 via AT-1 bonds or Basel III compliant Tier-II bonds.
  • Fedders Lloyd Corporation: Incorporates a wholly-owned subsidiary in Nigeria named Fedders Lloyd Corporation Nigeria.
  • Granules India: Approves scheme of amalgamation of GIL Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. with the company.
  • Lakshmi Machine Works: Board approves buyback of 3.1 lakh equity shares at a price not exceeding Rs.4,450 per share, amounting to 2.76 percent of the paid up capital and involving an amount of Rs 138.4 crore.
  • Punjab National Bank: Revises one-year MCLR to 9.25 percent from 9.3 percent from November 1, 2016.
  • Tata Group Companies: NSE asks Tata Power, Tata Communications, Tata Tele Maharashtra, Indian Hotels and Tata Motors to clarify on reports of possible write-downs.
  • Hinduja Ventures: To divest 1.35 percent stake in IndusInd media.
  • Gulf Oil Lubricants: Signs strategic tie-up with Bajaj Auto for lubricants.
  • JK Lakshmi Cement: Board approves issue of non-convertible debentures of up to Rs 500 crore, in one or more tranches from time-to-time, on private placement basis.
  • Pricol: Madras High Court approves scheme of amalgamation of Pricol Ltd., with Pricol Pune Ltd.
  • Mandhana Industries: Majority banks agree to invoke strategic debt restructuring and the reference date for the same has been set as June 24, 2016.
  • Balmer Lawrie: To consider issue of bonus shares in board meeting on November 10, 2016.
  • Raymond: Board approves demerger of business of Color Plus Fashions Ltd into Raymond Apparel Ltd.
