Shares of the Bengaluru-based firm rose as much as 12.6 percent to Rs 14 after the company managed to sell four acres of land in Kochi, Kerela. The Rs 26.5 crore generated from the sale will be used to reduce debt, according to its press release on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
SKIL Infrastructure: Stock Slump
Previously knows as Horizon Infrastructure, the company's share price dropped 5.9 percent to Rs 23 after Religare Finvest and JM Financials invoked SKIL's investment of 38,90,068 equity shares in Reliance Defense.
The step was taken under the right to provision of security by company for loan taken by E Complex, a subsidiary of Reliance Defense.
Oil Firms Slip on Falling Crude Prices
The BSE Oil Index fell as much as 0.4 percent after global crude oil prices extended declines below the $43 mark.

The stock fell 5.5 percent to Rs 46.5, after receiving open offers from Aniruddha Mehta, Gauri Mehta and Umiya Holding for acquisition of 4.9 lakh equity shares for Rs 42 a piece. These shares together, constitute 26 percent of the company's voting rights.
Indraprastha Gas: Gains on Letter of Intent
The Delhi based gas distribution company's stock gained as much as 1 percent to Rs 690 after the company won the bid for development of City Gas Distribution in Rewari district. In a letter of intent, the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Body has asked Indraprastha to submit a performance bank guarantee of 1,052.4 crore.
