ICICI Prudential AMC Q1 Results: Profit Jumps 26%; Total Income Exceeds Rs 1,700 Crore

Asset manager posts strong first-quarter earnings as profit and income register double-digit growth.

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Co. reported a strong set of earnings for the first quarter, with net profit rising 25.5% year-on-year to Rs 965 crore from Rs 769 crore.

The asset manager's total income increased 20.2% to Rs 1,745 crore, compared with Rs 1,452 crore in the corresponding period last year, reflecting healthy growth in its business.The company announced the quarterly financial results in an exchange filing on Monday.

Revenue from operations increased 17.6% year-on-year to Rs 1,564 crore, up from Rs 1,331 crore in the year-ago quarter. Operating revenue rose around 18% to Rs 1,560 crore, while operating profit grew 20% to Rs 1,100 crore.

The company's quarterly average assets under management (QAAUM) stood at Rs 11.17 lakh crore, up 18.3% from a year earlier. Active mutual fund QAAUM increased 15.1% year-on-year to Rs 9.25 lakh crore.

QAAUM in equity and equity-oriented schemes rose to Rs 6.31 lakh crore, giving the fund house a 14% market share in the segment.

Monthly systematic transactions touched Rs 4,872 crore in June, compared with Rs 4,245 crore in June 2025, underscoring sustained investor participation through systematic investment plans.

The company said it retained the second-largest market share of 13.4% in total mutual fund QAAUM and the largest market share of 13.5% in active mutual fund QAAUM at the end of the June quarter.

Its customer base expanded 15.1% year-on-year to 1.73 crore as of the end of the quarter.

On the cost front, total expenses increased to Rs 464 crore from Rs 416 crore a year ago. Employee benefit expenses rose 11% year-on-year to Rs 204 crore, compared with Rs 184 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
