TVS Motor Company Ltd.'s total sales declined 3.6 percent on a year-on-year basis in February.
The automaker sold 2.11 lakh units last month compared to 2.19 lakh units sold in the year-ago period, it said in a stock exchange filling.
Total two-wheeler sales fell 2.3 percent to 2,06 lakh units, of which 1.72 lakh units were sold domestically. The motorcycle segment witnessed a slowdown as sales fell 23.4 percent to 58,994 units. Scooter sales grew 2.9 percent to 69,020 units.
Three-wheeler sales too slipped 37.2 percent to 5,223 units from 8,319 units in February last year.
Total exports grew 9.8 percent to 38,215 units of which 33,636 units were two-wheelers.
