State-owned Coal India Ltd. will announce the results for the third quarter of FY26 this week. It is the world's largest coal producer. The Maharatna public sector undertaking (PSU) of the Coal Ministry manages 310 mines and accounts for 80% of India's domestic coal production. Here's everything you need to know about Coal India's Q3FY26 earnings schedule.

Coal India Q3 Results: Date And Dividend News

In an exchange filing dated Jan. 29, Coal India said that a meeting of its Board of Directors is scheduled on Feb. 12 to consider and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and nine months ended Dec. 31, 2025.

The Board of Directors may also consider and declare payment of the 3rd interim dividend for FY 2025-26, if any, the PSU informed the stock exchanges.

Coal India Q3 Results: Trading Window Closure

In compliance with SEBI rules to prevent insider trading, the trading window for dealing in the securities of the company is closed for designated persons and their immediate relatives from Jan. 1, and it will re-open on Feb. 16.

The company is yet to announce the schedule for an earnings call with investors and analysts to discuss the Q3FY26 results. 

Coal India Q2 Results

Coal India reported a 3.2% year-on-year (YoY) decline in consolidated revenue from operations at Rs 30,186.70 crore in Q2FY26 from Rs 31,181.89 crore in Q2FY25. Net profit plunged 32% YoY to Rs 4,262.64 crore in Q2FY26 from Rs 6,274.8 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Coal India Share Price History

Shares of Coal India have declined 1.89% in the past five trading sessions on the NSE. In the last one month, the PSU stock has remained flat, while rising 12.94% in the past six months. On a year-to-date basis, shares of the company have gained 7.88%. Over the past year, the stock has climbed by 16.60%.

The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 461.55 apiece on the NSE on Jan. 29, 2026, and a 52-week low of Rs 349.25 apiece on Feb. 17, 2025. At 11:07 a.m. on Tuesday, Coal India shares were trading flat at Rs 432 apiece on the NSE. This compares to a 0.37% rise in the benchmark Nifty 50.
