Irumudi has opened well at the Indian box office, earning strong numbers on its first day. The film was released in both Telugu and Tamil, with the Telugu version bringing in most of the Day 1 collection.
Day 1 Box Office Collection
The film earned Rs 14.80 crore net in India on Day 1 from 2,673 shows, with 76.9% occupancy. According to Sacnilk, the film recorded Rs 17.20 crore India gross and Rs 6 crore overseas gross, taking its worldwide collection to Rs 23.20 crore.
Language-Wise Collection
The Telugu version led Irumudi's opening-day performance, contributing the majority of its India net collection. It earned Rs 14.78 crore at 79% occupancy across 2,591 shows.
The Tamil version, meanwhile, added Rs 2 lakh to the India net collection, recording 11% occupancy across 82 shows. According to Sacnilk, both versions together took the film's total India net collection to Rs 14.80 crore on Day 1.

Irumudi Plot
Irumudi is about a man who has had a difficult past but now lives a simple life with his daughter. When his daughter asks him to take Ayyappa Deeksha, he decides to follow the 41-day spiritual vow. As he begins this journey, he faces several challenges and is forced to deal with things from his past. The film focuses on his journey, his struggles and his close relationship with his daughter.
