Akshay Kumar's 'Bhooth Bangla' continues its strong run at the box office. The horror-comedy is inching closer to the Rs 100-crore milestone globally. The Priyadarshan directed film collected Rs 7 crore in the overseas market on Day 3, taking its total international earnings to Rs 26.5 crore, as per Sacnilk.
Bhoot Bangla Box Office Collection Updates
On the domestic front, the film earned Rs 23 crore on Sunday across 11,682 shows. With this, its total India gross stands at Rs 69.37 crore, while the India net collection has reached Rs 58 crore so far. Combining both domestic and overseas numbers, 'Bhooth Bangla' has now garnered a worldwide gross collection of Rs 95.87 crore.
Released on April 17, 'Bhooth Bangla' features Akshay Kumar in a dual role as Arjun Acharya and Madhav Acharya. Wamiqa Gabbi also appears in a double role, playing Priya and Chitra. The film also stars Paresh Rawal as Jagdish Manikchand Roopkamal Kewalramani, Jisshu Sengupta as Dr Vasudev Acharya, Rajpal Yadav as Sunder 'Balli' Bajwa, Tabu as Yashodha and Mithila Palkar as Meera Acharya.
Late veteran actor Asrani plays Shantaram Yadav in the film.

Ahead of the film's release, Akshay Kumar paid an emotional tribute to his co-star. He shared a black-and-white BTS picture from the 'Bhooth Bangla' shoot, where both actors, dressed as their characters, are seen going through scripts together.
In his note, Akshay Kumar wrote, "Kabhi kabhi ek tasveer sirf yaadon ka tukda nahi hoti... ek poori journey ko samet leti hai. Yeh picture humari 'Bhooth Bangla' ki shoot se hai... Asraniji ke saath meri second last film. Total 12 films humne saath ki, aur har ek mein maine unse kuch naya seekha... it was like a masterclass every single time. Comedy itni aasaan lagti thi jab woh karte the, lekin asal mein woh ek mushkil kala hai. Asrani ji uske ustad the aur hamesha rahenge."
'Bhooth Bangla' has been jointly produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures and Cape of Good Films.
