The sets of Kalki 2 in Hyderabad witnessed a special moment as Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan came together for a film after almost 40 years. Sharing pictures from the shoot on his blog, Bachchan expressed his happiness about the reunion and wrote, “And meeting up with the great Kamal Haasan… we shall be working together after ages… last in Geraftaar.”

He expressed regret over not being able to meet the well-wishers who gather regularly, assuring them that he hopes to resume the tradition soon.

Both actors were part of Kalki 2898 AD, Nag Ashwin's ambitious mythological sci-fi epic that released in 2024.
