Minimum passing marks

To successfully clear the UP Board examinations, you need to achieve a minimum of 33% in every subject. Those who do not achieve passing marks can register for compartment examinations. This year, around 5.5 million candidates sat for the UP Board 10th and 12th assessments. This figure includes roughly 2.75 million students in 10th grade and 2.5 million in 12th grade.

Last year's results

The UP Board Class 10 results for 2025 were released on April 25 at 12:30 pm. The previous year saw a total of 27,41,674 candidates take the UP Board 10th exams, with a commendable pass rate of 90.11%. Girls had a pass rate of 93.87%, while boys achieved a rate of 86.66%.
