The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) held the UP-Board 10th and 12th board examinations from February 18 to March 12, 2026, where over 52 lakh student appeared for examinations. The board will commence the assessment of answer sheets on March 18. This year, the evaluation will be conducted digitally with heightened security measures.
Expected results
The results are expected to be announced next month. UPMSP aims to finalize the assessment of approximately 30 million board exam copies by the end of this month. Subsequently, the students' results will be compiled. Therefore, the results may be disclosed in the second week of April or later.

New securities features
This year, modifications have also been made to the marksheet, which will now incorporate 16 security features. The UP Board has revamped the marksheet format. Marksheets will feature 16 security elements, including barcodes and holograms, to deter fraud through duplicate reproductions.
New waterproof, torn proof marksheet
This year, the UP Board has implemented a significant modification to the marksheet material. The marksheet will now be waterproof, ensuring it won't smear or blur even if it unintentionally gets wet. Additionally, it has been designed to be non-tearable, meaning it won't be ripped. This is a significant relief for students, allowing them to preserve their mark sheets.

New A4-size marksheet
In the past, UP Board mark sheets were compact. Now, they will be provided with an expanded, professional A-4 layout. These will look like a diploma and will display a clearer and more secure student photograph, roll number, and various other details.
This year, the UP Board has required step marking in disciplines such as science and mathematics. This signifies that if a student's response is deemed even partially correct, they will receive half the points.
