The initiative aims to improve communication and accessibility through notifications about admit cards, exam schedules, results, and other crucial announcements.
In a post on X, NTA announced that students can now access "instant updates, exam notifications, and everything" in one location through its social media accounts, urging candidates to follow the accounts to remain in the loop.

This decision is part of NTA's strategy to bolster its digital presence and engage directly with candidates, many of whom turn to social media for daily news updates, including exam timelines. By leveraging popular platforms like Instagram and Facebook, the agency aims to ensure quicker access to vital information and decrease reliance on alternative sources.
The social media accounts will disseminate information regarding application forms, intimation slips, admit cards, answer keys, and results. Students are expected to check for updates regularly, particularly during peak exam season when multiple updates are posted in quick succession.
The initiative will also help curb misinformation, allowing students to depend on official communications rather than unverified sources.
NTA has introduced official profiles complete with QR codes to facilitate easier access. Students are encouraged to follow these authenticated pages to ensure they do not overlook vital announcements concerning CUET, JEE, NEET, and other examinations at the national level.
