(Bloomberg) -- French news website Mediapart corrected a previous report, now saying Republican candidate Francois Fillon's wife Penelope hasn't been taken into custody.
Penelope Fillon is under investigation for possible misuse of public money for a no-show job as her husband's parliamentary aide.
Mediapart said though in another tweet, along with Le Figaro, that Penelope Fillon was actually summoned by an investigative magistrate to be potentially placed under formal investigation, along with her husband.
