(Bloomberg) -- While Marine Le Pen looks to have under-performed the opinion polls, her roughly 34 percent projected vote share in the French presidential election represents a sizable improvement on her father's historic rout by Jacques Chirac in 2002. In that election, Jean-Marie Le Pen won just 17.8 percent of the final vote.
