(Bloomberg) -- As France's presidential election campaign nears an end with a final debate Wednesday night, here's a look at some of the key issues that divide the country and the electorate. Marine Le Pen won much of her support in the first round of voting on April 23 in areas where successive governments have failed to reverse economic decline, and Emmanuel Macron had the backing of regions where there are a higher number of university graduates. Opinion polls show Macron will win by about 20 points in the May 7 runoff.
