(Bloomberg) -- Americans are making out well this year, as surging equity and house prices boost their finances. Net worth for U.S. households and non-profit groups rose to a record $94.84 trillion in the first quarter, a gain of $2.35 trillion or 2.5 percent, from the prior three months, Federal Reserve figures showed Thursday. That's left the pre-recession peak from 2007 far behind, by a whopping $27 trillion.
