(Bloomberg) -- European funds that invest across asset classes attracted 10.9 billion euros ($11.9 billion) of new money in March, their biggest inflow since May 2015, according to data provider Morningstar Inc. Multi-asset funds have gained popularity since the global financial crisis because they help shield investors from market shocks. Their total holdings rose to 1.19 trillion euros.
