Investors are hoping for continuity of the reform measures undertaken by the Narendra Modi government in the upcoming Union Budget, Andrew Holland, CEO of Avendus Capital said.

“Investors will like if the Budget delivers a few things such as continuity in terms of policies and in terms of expenditure in infrastructure and rural spending,” Holland told BloombergQuint in an interview.

He expects corporate earnings in the third quarter to surprise positively. The fast-moving consumer goods sector, in particular, will see double digit growth in both top line and bottom line in the coming years, Holland added.
