Tata Sons today appointed Sunil Sinha as Resident Director, Middle East and North Africa, and plans to set up an office in Dubai for the MENA region in collaboration with Tata International.
"The office's objective is to further enhance and strengthen Tata Sons' engagement with all stakeholders in the MENA region, facilitating business growth for Tata group companies, especially in focus sectors that are crucial to development in MENA and are of strategic interest to the group," the company said in a statement.
The MENA office will report to Madhu Kannan, member, group executive council, Tata Sons.
Sinha has been with the Tata group for over 31 years, most recently as the CEO of Tata Quality Management Services.
"At TQMS, Sinha has been instrumental in driving the agenda of business excellence, management of business ethics, innovation, sustainability, corporate governance and safety in group companies," statement added.
