The top offer in Warren Buffett's annual charity auction was $1 million with more than four days remaining, beating last year's pace. The winner gets to dine with Buffett at New York's Smith & Wollensky steakhouse, and auction proceeds help fund Glide, a San Francisco charity that aids the homeless. The auction ends Friday and bidding usually accelerates on the last day, as it did last year when the winner, who chose to remain anonymous, made a record-tying bid of $3.46 million.
