In Delhi, petrol rates were steady at Rs 90.56 per litre and diesel was untouched at Rs 80.87 per litre, according to Indian Oil Corporation. In Mumbai, the petrol and diesel prices stood at Rs 96.98 per litre and Rs 87.96 per litre, according to the state-run oil refiner. Meanwhile, oil prices slid more than 1 percent on March 30 as the Suez Canal reopened to traffic and the U.S. dollar rallied. Brent crude fell 84 cents, or 1.3 percent, to settle at $64.14 a barrel while West Texas Intermediate U.S. oil ended the session down $1.01, or 1.6 percent, at $60.55 barrel.
