Petrol Prices Raised In Metros, Diesel Rates Unchanged

Domestic petrol prices were increased by 9-11 paise per litre in the metros on Friday whereas diesel rates were left unchanged at existing levels. In Delhi, the price of petrol was raised to Rs 81.94 from Rs 81.83 per litre with effect from 6 am on August 28, while that of diesel was retained at Rs 73.56 per litre, according to notifications from state-run Indian Oil Corporation. In Mumbai, petrol price was revised to Rs 81.94 per litre, from Rs 88.48, while diesel rate was maintained at Rs 80.11 per litre.
