Jet Airways is offering a discount of 20 per cent on base fare in premiere and economy category on international flight tickets, said country's second largest private airline on its website -- jetairways.in. However, the airline's discount offer is valid only for travel from India to France. The destinations include Paris, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Nice, Nantes, Rennes, Strasbourg and Toulouse. To avail Jet Airways' discount offer, customers need to purchase flight tickets between July 13 to July 17, 2018 and commence travel on or after July 13.
The discount offer is applicable on return journeys only on flights operate by Jet Airways and its codeshare partners Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
A codeshare is an arrangement between two airlines (airline A & airline B) whereby airline A will market and sell the flights of airline B as though they were the flights of airline A and / or vice versa, according to Jet Airways' official website.
Under the offer, infant discount, refund charges, black out period will be applicable as mentioned in the fare rule. The discount is only applicable on select booking classes, as well.
Jet Airways is also offering 10 per cent discount on domestic flight tickets. Airline's 10 per cent discount offer is applicable on base fare on premiere and economy flights. With the onset of monsoon season, other airlines in the country have also come up with hefty discounts on flight tickets.
IndiGo is offering domestic flight tickets at a starting price of Rs. 1,212 whereas, SpiceJet is has come up with domestic flight tickets at a starting fare of Rs. 999 under its 'Mega Monsoon Sale'. AirAsia India is also offering domestic flight tickets at a starting price of Rs. 999.
