HDFC Bank Raises Fixed Deposit Interest Rates With Effect From Today

HDFC Bank, the largest private sector lender in the country, revised its fixed deposit or FD interest rates in select maturities. HDFC Bank said the new FD interest rates with take effect from today. HDFC Bank has revised fixed deposit interest rates for both general and senior citizens of the country, according to the bank's website, hdfcbank.com. HDFC Bank has revised FD interest rates for deposits ranging from below Rs 1 crore to less than Rs 5 crore. The revision in HDFC Bank's fixed deposit interest rates comes days after the Reserve Bank of India hiked the repo rate - the key interest rate at which its lends short-term funds to commercial banks - to 6.5 per cent..HDFC Bank fixed deposit or FD interest rates.HDFC Bank has raised FD interest rates in the range of 0.10 per cent to 0.60 per cent or 10 basis points - 60 basis points on select maturities.
