(Bloomberg) -- Germany's financial regulator has asked prosecutors in the city of Bremen to investigate Greensill Bank AG.
BaFin filed the criminal complaint on Wednesday, according to a spokesman for the prosecutors. A spokesman for the regulator declined to comment.
A probe by BaFin found irregularities with how Greensill Bank booked certain assets, compounding the woes of parent company Greensill Capital as it seeks to stave off a damaging collapse, according to people familiar with the matter.
