State-run telecom operator, BSNL or Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has come up with new unlimited prepaid recharge plan offers priced at Rs 99 and Rs 319 for its prepaid customers, said the operator on its official website -- bsnl.co.in. The move is seen as a bid to counter Reliance Jio's and Bharti Airtel's offers. The latest prepaid recharge plans from BSNL offer unlimited voice calling to their subscribers. Since the launch of Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio, every telecom operator in the country has come up with a host of attractive plans -- for both data and calling -- to lure and retain its customer base.

BSNL's Rs 99 prepaid recharge plan:
Under BSNL's STV (special tariff vouchers) of Rs 99, customers get unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. One also gets PRBT (personalised ring back tone) with this offer. The plan is valid for 26 days. However, this BSNL prepaid recharge plan is not valid in Mumbai and Delhi.
BSNL's Rs 319 prepaid recharge plan:
Under BSNL's STV of Rs 319 plan, customers get unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. One also gets PRBT (personalised ring back tone) with this offer. This prepaid recharge plan of BSNL is valid for 90 days.However, it is not valid in Mumbai and Delhi.

Recently, BSNL has also come up with a number of high-speed data plans, as they are the most popular among customers. Last month, it launched BSNL family broadband plan. The scheme is bundled for three mobile connections which cost Rs. 1,199 per month. Under this plan one gets 1 GB data per day on all three SIMs. However, the speed gets reduced to 40 kbps after the consumption of the daily limit. It also offers unlimited local, STD and roaming (excluding Mumbai and Delhi) voice calls and free personalised ringback tone on all three SIMs.
