Infosys has issued a clarification, stating that as of today, there is no tax demand outstanding concerning the alleged ineligible input tax credit (ITC) refunds under the Goods and Services Tax regime.
The company asserted in an exchange filing that it has been fully compliant with all relevant State and Central laws about GST refunds. This statement was made in response to reports regarding a show-cause notice issued by the Directorate General of GST Intelligence on Aug. 12, seeking Rs 415 crore.
Infosys further confirmed that it has already filed a plea in the Karnataka High Court, challenging the legitimacy of the DGGI's notice.

The sales volume was up 47% at 4.42 million square feet while the collections was up 54% at Rs 4,212.8 crore. The sales were up 50% at Rs 6,017 crore, as per the update.

They have initated on L&T with a 'buy' rating and a target price of Rs 4,350. Cummins gets the highest target price of the lot, standing at Rs 4,650.

The shares of Saatvik Green Enery has extended gains to the sixth straight session. This comes after the company posted its second quarter results. The revenue rose to Rs 916 crore versus Rs 246 crore while the net profit also saw a notable surge to Rs 119 crore.
The scrip rose 10% in trade so far to Rs 551 apiece, compared to 0.22% gains in the Nifty 50 as of 9:24 a.m.

What Brokerages Say: Eternal Price Target Hike
Eternal Ltd.'s share price received a boost from research firm Citi as the brokerage firm increased the price target to Rs 395 from Rs 320, while maintaining a 'buy' rating on the stock.
The 23% hike is driven primarily by the stellar growth momentum and strong market leadership of its Quick Commerce business—Blinkit.

Brent fell below $66 a barrel after adding more than 1% on Wednesday, while West Texas Intermediate was near $62.
Gold prices, on the other hand, fell from record low after peaking at an all-time high above $4,000 an ounce on Wednesday. This comes on the back of a torrid rally that’s left prices vulnerable to pullbacks amid signs that the precious metal is trading at overheated levels.
Bullion declined as much as 0.7% in early Asia trading on Thursday to around $4,015 an ounce, after closing 1.4% higher in the previous session, reports Bloomberg.
