Dubai Airports on Monday announced a limited resumption of flight operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) amid ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

In a statement issued on March 2, Dubai Media Office said operations would partially resume starting this evening.

It also urged passengers to avoid heading to the airport unless their airline has confirmed the updated departure time of their flight.

“Dubai Airports confirms that a limited resumption of operations will begin today evening, 2 March, with a small number of flights permitted to operate from Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC),” the statement said.

“Travellers are advised not to proceed to DXB or DWC unless they have been contacted directly by their airline with a confirmed departure time,” it added.

The Dubai Media Office, the official account of the Government of Dubai Media Office, said on X: “Emirates will begin operating a limited number of flights from the evening of 2 March. Priority is being given to customers with earlier bookings. Passengers who have been rebooked onto these flights will be contacted directly by Emirates. Please do not proceed to the airport unless you have received confirmation from the airline.”

Meanwhile, in a post on X, Emirates said that they are accommodating customers with earlier bookings as a priority, and those who have been rebooked to travel on these limited flights will be contacted directly by Emirates.

Flydubai will operate a limited number of flights on the evening of 02 March 2026.

"Customers are advised to update their contact details via Manage Your Booking and check Flight status at http://flydubai.com before travelling to the airport."

The advisory comes amid wider disruptions to regional airspace, with several airports in the Middle East affected in recent days due to escalating geopolitical tensions.

Passengers are advised to remain in close contact with their respective airlines for the latest updates on flight schedules and operational changes.
