Large banks may have limited room to accelerate growth, but large NBFCs and mid-sized private lenders remain well placed as credit demand picks up and the NPA cycle stays benign, Abakkus Asset Manager’s Aman Chowhan told NDTV Profit. He added that first-quarter earnings were a positive surprise, domestic demand remains resilient despite the oil-price surge, and gains in pharma CDMOs look sustainable, even as weak exports and El Niño risks cloud the wider market outlook.
