Indian equities may continue to face valuation pressure in the second half of the fiscal year as slower earnings growth, elevated crude oil prices, rising bond yields and global macro concerns weigh on investor sentiment, according to Rajiv Batra, Head of Asia at JPMorgan. Speaking to NDTV Profit, Batra said robust corporate earnings could help limit further de-rating, while expecting another RBI rate hike in December amid persistent inflation risks.
