ISDM Launches DataSights Portal Powered By Capgemini To Empower Social Sector

Data has increasingly become the primary driver of human endeavour. And democratizing access to data is one of the biggest current challenges. It isn't just about making information available, it's about giving authorities and communities the power to interpret, and utilize that data to change lives.
And it is only high-quality data that can empower social purpose organisations to make informed decisions, track progress, measure success, and allocate resources effectively for maximum impact. However, access to such data in the social sector has been limited.
Datasets are often fragmented, they lack granularity and interoperability, and sometimes have disparities. This disproportionately affects grassroots organisations that do meaningful work but have fewer resources.
To address the critical data challenges faced by the social sector, the Indian School of Development Management has launched ISDM DataSights, an innovative, open-access platform powered by Capgemini that helps democratise access to data. The platform consolidates diverse datasets, analysis tools, and visualisations, making reliable, actionable data easily accessible to SPOs.

The platform also enables organisations to visualise and analyse data with ease. Users can track trends, uncover patterns, and generate insights to inform their interventions. This simplifies reporting processes and strengthens evidence-based decision-making, enabling SPOs to optimise their programmes and maximise impact.
