The total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in India rose to 2,902 on Saturday morning, according to data made available by the Health Ministry. This includes 183 cured or discharged and 68 people who succumbed to the respiratory illness.
India reported 355 fresh cases of infection since the last update on Friday evening. Cases more than tripled in the last seven days.
