The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon begin the registration process for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam 2025. Interested graduate candidates will be able to apply for this much-awaited exam through the Commission’s official website: ssc.gov.in.
SSC CGL exams are highly popular among job seekers as they serve as a gateway to recruitment in various government departments, ministries and other agencies across India. In a detailed notification, the Commission will share all the information related to the exam schedule, registration process and other details.
Some reports suggest that SSC could release the notification by Monday evening and the registration process is expected to continue until July 4.
Once the notification is issued, the examination is likely to be held in mid-August in online mode. SSC conducts computer-based exams for recruitment into CGL positions.
To register, candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria to avoid issues later. SSC charges a fee for making corrections in the application form.
SSC CGL Application Form Details And Fee
While submitting the form on the SSC website, the candidates will be asked details about their academic credentials, personal and professional details. Based on this, the candidates are required to upload their documents in the prescribed file format and size.
The application process includes a one-time registration and the candidates will have to pay a fee to complete the process. The application fee charged by SSC stands at Rs 100.
In case the candidates make any mistake, they can correct their forms by paying Rs 200 the first time. To edit the same form for the second time, a fee of Rs 500 is levied, as seen in the previous years.
Candidates should note that the exam is expected to be held in two tiers. The initial round will be based on topics like general intelligence and reasoning, quantitative aptitude and English comprehension, among others. The second tier will include papers based on multiple modules.

1. Go to ssc.gov.in and click on "New User? Register Now" to begin one-time registration.
2. Fill in your name, contact number, nationality, education and address.
3. Submit the form and receive your registration number and password.
4. Log in using your credentials and complete the detailed application form.
5. Upload scanned photo and signature, then pay the fee online via card, net banking, or UPI.
6. Check all details carefully, submit the form.
7. Download and print a copy for reference.
