(Bloomberg) -- U.S. equities are taking their time. Wednesday marks the 70th consecutive session without a 1 percent gain for the S&P 500 Index.
That's the longest such stretch since a 79-session run spanning from November 2006 through March 2007.
The last time the benchmark gauge booked a gain in excess of 1 percent was April 24 -- amid a global risk rally sparked by the results of the first round of presidential elections in France.
