Japan Playing Catch-Up as Asian Stocks Brush Off Brexit: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- Most Asian markets have recovered or are close to recouping their losses after the U.K. voted to leave the European Union on June 23. Japan trails the rest of the pack, after dropping 7.3 percent following the referendum as the yen soared to the highest level in almost two years. Still, the Topix index is slightly more than halfway back to its pre-Brexit levels, having climbed 4.2 percent last week.
