Tyre maker MRF Ltd's shareholders have approved the company's final dividend of Rs 229 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Thursday through video conferencing.

According to the company, all 11,57,328 shareholders who participated in the voting approved the declaration of the final dividend for fiscal 2026.

With the approval, MRF's total dividend payout for fiscal 2026 stands at Rs 235 per equity share. Earlier during the financial year, the company had declared and paid two interim dividends of Rs 3 per share each, taking the cumulative dividend for the year to Rs 235 per share.

Board Reappointments Approved

Shareholders also approved the reappointment of Varun Mammen as a director liable to retire by rotation. In addition, they approved the reappointment of Dr. Cibi Mammen as a director liable to retire by rotation.

The approvals reaffirm the existing leadership structure at one of India's largest tyre manufacturers.

Strong Q4 Performance

The dividend approval followed a strong financial performance in the fourth quarter of FY26. On a standalone basis, MRF reported a 36.7% increase in net profit to Rs 680 crore, compared with Rs 498 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Revenue from operations rose 13.9% year-on-year to Rs 7,908 crore from Rs 6,944 crore. Operating performance also improved during the quarter, with Ebitda increasing 21.1% to Rs 1,263 crore from Rs 1,043 crore a year earlier. The Ebitda margin expanded to 16% from 15%, reflecting improved profitability despite input cost challenges.

The robust quarterly earnings, coupled with the final dividend approval, underscore the company's continued focus on delivering value to shareholders while maintaining healthy operational performance. MRF remains one of India's most closely tracked manufacturing companies, with investors monitoring its earnings for insights into demand trends in the automotive sector, replacement tyre market and raw material costs.
