(Bloomberg) -- Last month's tumble for the pound was one of many for a currency that's been heading lower for 100 years. The world's oldest currency bought almost $5 during World War I and has lost more than two thirds of its value since. The plunge on June 24, the day after Brexit, was the biggest for sterling since at least 1971.
