Chennai-based 8K Miles Software Services registered a 56 percent growth in its net profit at Rs 19.33 crore for quarter-ended June, compared to Rs 12.33 crore in the previous quarter. It made a profit of Rs 7.22 crore in the same period last year.
The midcap IT firm's total income went up 20.3 percent to Rs 103.8 crore, according to its exchange filing. Its EBITDA margin also increased to 35.3 percent from 30.4 percent.
Post the earnings announcement, shares of 8K Miles soared as much as 11 percent to Rs 1,972 on the NSE, its biggest single day gain since February 15 of this year.
