Bengaluru is all set for a lively weekend as UN40: Music & Beyond comes to NICE Grounds on March 14 and 15. With Talwiinder among the big attractions, the event promises much more than just back-to-back concerts. It is being planned as a full festival where people can spend the entire day listening to music, watching comedy and taking part in fun activities.
The lineup brings together popular and independent artists on one stage. Himesh Reshammiya will perform his hit songs, while Flipperachi, Shalmali Kholgade, Aditya Rikhari, Santhosh Narayanan and Thaikkudam Bridge will add their own styles to the mix. The idea is to give the audience different kinds of music in one place so they can move from one performance to another throughout the day.
There will also be a separate stage for stand-up comedy. Comedians Harsh Gujral, Inder Sahani, Manhar Seth and Onkar Yadav will perform across the two days. Organisers want people to be able to switch between music, comedy and activity zones instead of staying in one spot.
The festival will start in the afternoon on both days and continue till late evening, making it easy for people to plan it as a full-day outing with friends.
Tickets are available on BookMyShow in different categories. A single-day ticket starts at Rs 2,999 and goes up to Rs 5,299, depending on the access. Those who want to attend both days can buy a festival pass, which ranges from Rs 2,999 to Rs 7,999. Early bookings have been strong, especially from groups planning a weekend together.
One of the highlights will be the European-style beer garden, which will work as a chill-out space inside the venue. Digital creators Beyounick, Danny Pandit, Disha Madan and RJ Princy are expected to drop in for interactive sessions and meet-and-greets. There will also be team games, crowd activities and a few surprise moments on stage.
With large live events becoming more popular in the country, UN40 is shaping up to be one of Bengaluru's biggest entertainment gatherings of the season, bringing music, comedy and creators together in one place.
