Krushna Abhishek and his wife Kashmera Shah reunited with Sunita Ahuja after nearly 14 years of family tension during the shoot of Laughter Chefs - Unlimited Entertainment Season 3. A moment that once looked unlikely played out in front of cameras and quickly drew attention online.
Videos and photos from the set surfaced on Wednesday, showing the trio smiling, posing for photographers and sharing light moments. Sunita described the reunion as "vanwaas khatam hua", signalling that the long-running rift had ended.
The meeting matters because the dispute between the families had remained in public view for years. Their appearance together now suggests both sides have moved on, closing one of television's most discussed family fallouts.
Reunion Moment
During the interaction, Krushna thanked the show's team for arranging the surprise visit. He said, "Aaj humne itne season kiye hain Laughter Chefs ke hum humesha kehte hain family show hai lekin aaj mai kehna chaahunga thanks to the creative team, Mami aayi aaj bohot bada surprise tha. Hum dono ku nahi pata tha ki aane waali hai. And thanks to her ki unhone haan kaha aur wo show par aayi hai aaj. Jitne masaale media me pichle das baaraa saalon se aaye hai aaj usme aag lagaake usku humne khatam kardiya, saath me aake."
Sunita replied, "14 saal ke baad aaj vanvaas khatam hua hai. Kis kis ki jalegi bhagwan he jane."

Sunita Speaks
Speaking to Pinkvilla, Sunita said there was no longer any tension between the families.
"How long can I be angry with my kids? Why hold grudges when everyone is happy in their own space? I only want to give blessings to all the kids; they are like my own," she said.
The fallout reportedly began in 2016 after a joke by Krushna upset Govinda and Sunita. Since then, both families had kept their distance in public appearances.
With this reunion now public, attention will shift to whether fans see more family appearances together in the future.
