Do Deewane Seher Mein Box Office Collection Day 1: Siddhant Chaturvedi - Mrunal Thakur Film Sees Slow Start, Mints This Amount

Ravi Udyawar's Do Deewane Seher Mein has taken a modest start at the box office, earning an estimated Rs 0.36 crore India net on Day 1, as per early trends reported by Sacnilk. The film recorded an overall 7.13% Hindi occupancy on Friday, indicating a slow turnout in morning shows with the weekend now crucial for growth.

In terms of regional performance, Ahmedabad led the occupancy chart with 11% across 225 shows, followed by Chandigarh at 9% from 54 shows and Pune at 8% with 109 shows. Among the key metros, Mumbai registered around 6%, while NCR remained at 4% despite the highest show count, reflecting limited initial footfall in major multiplex circuits.

The wide release ensured a strong presence in urban markets, but the low occupancy suggests that the film will depend heavily on positive word of mouth to gather momentum over Saturday and Sunday. Romantic dramas often see a jump with favourable audience response, and the coming days will determine whether the film can capitalise on that trend.

As of now, the domestic gross, overseas and worldwide collections have not been reported, with only the India net figure available in the early estimate.

The film brings Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur together on screen for the first time in a contemporary Mumbai-set romance that follows two strangers who gradually fall in love while navigating their ambitions, insecurities and emotional baggage. The supporting cast includes Ila Arun, Joy Sengupta, Ayesha Raza, Sandeepa Dhar and Inesh Kotian.

Backing the project is a strong production team. Presented by Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal and Bharat Kumar Ranga, the film carries the stamp of a banner known for mounting visually polished and emotionally engaging cinema. That association is expected to work in its favour as the weekend progresses and audience reviews come in.

For now, the Day 1 figures point to a slow opening, with the film's box office journey largely dependent on weekend growth and word of mouth.
