Arvind Kejriwal Flags Off Fogging Drive: Too Little, Too Late?

Under pressure from all quarters to curb rising cases of dengue and chikungunya, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday launched a major fogging Drive in New Delhi.

Around 150 fogging units have been procured to check the growth of mosquitoes in the National Capital.Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Kumar Jain said that the government plans to introduce more such machines by the end of this month.

Aedes Aegypti, the mosquito that causes both chikungunya and dengue has claimed more than 27 deaths in Delhi alone.
