(Bloomberg) -- The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said the city's more than one million foreign residents would always be welcome and promised that the U.K. capital would remain “open to the world.”
In an open letter to the global business community, Khan said the U.K.'s decision to leave the European Union was “not the result that London wanted.” He pledged to build alliances to ensure the city retained its international links.
