India’s Health Ministry Reports Two More Coronavirus Cases

The Delhi case has a travel history from Italy, while the person in Telangana has traveled to Dubai.

(Bloomberg) -- Two people have been diagnosed with the new coronavirus in India -- one in the country's capital New Delhi and another in the southern state of Telangana, the Press Information Bureau of India reported Monday.

India has so far only recorded three other cases of coronavirus -- all from Kerala in the country's far south -- who have all since recovered and been discharged from hospital, the Ministry of Health said.

Stocks erased gains after gaining as much as 2% intraday and the rupee extended losses, while sovereign bonds held gains. Shares of Indigo, a budget carrier, were down about 4%, while Spicejet Ltd. retreated about 11%.
