Tensions between India and Pakistan intensified on the night of Friday and early Saturday, with reports streaming in from Jammu & Kashmir, the Line of Control, Rajasthan, and various regions in north India on heavy Pakistani shelling.

The Indian government explained the situation in a media briefing led by Foreign Secretary Vikram, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh. Pakistan targeted 26 Indian locations, both civilian and defense, early Saturday. The targets included Indian airbase stations of Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur, and Bhuj. Pakistan used high-speed missiles at 1:40 am to target Punjab's air base. Pakistan also continued its hostilities by targeting places of worship like the famous Shambhu Temple and residential areas in Jammu.
