ABP News in collaboration with Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) will publish an opinion poll survey on Thursday, 8 November, for the upcoming assembly elections in five states – Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram.

  • The survey is being conducted after consultations with over 14,000 people till the end of October
  • The elections in the three states will be considered crucial before the 2019 general elections
  • An ABP-CVoter survey conducted in August had predicted the defeat of BJP in Rajasthan, MP and Chhattisgarh

According to the survey, Prime Minister Modi is more famous among voters in the three state than Rahul Gandhi. The percentage of voters who prefer Modi over Gandhi is as follows:

Narendra Modi

  • Madhya Pradesh: 39%
  • Chhattisgarh: 48%
  • Rajasthan: 52%

Rahul Gandhi

  • Madhya Pradesh: 33%
  • Chhattisgarh: 28%
  • Rajasthan: 18%

According to the survey, the vote share in Rajasthan will be as follows:

  • BJP: 41%
  • Congress: 45%
  • Others: 14%

Out of 200 seats in the state, the number of seats for the BJP and Congress predicted by the survey are as follows:

  • BJP: 84
  • Congress: 110
  • Others: 6

According to the survey, the vote share in Chhattisgarh will be as follows:

  • BJP: 43%
  • Congress: 36%
  • Others: 15%

Out of 90 seats in the state, the number of seats for the BJP and Congress predicted by the survey are as follows:

  • BJP: 56
  • Congress: 25
  • Others: 4

According to the survey, the vote share in MP will be as follows:

  • BJP: 41%
  • Congress: 40%
  • Others: 19%

Out of 230 seats in the state, the number of seats for the BJP and Congress predicted by the survey are as follows:

  • BJP: 116
  • Congress: 105
  • Others: 9

In August, an ABP-CVoter opinion poll shared ahead of the Assembly elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh showed the Congress getting a majority in all the three states, with the incumbent BJP falling far behind.
