Record U.S. Stocks Still Slipping in Global Importance: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- Despite the recent rally in U.S. stocks to records, their proportion of the global stock market has been falling all year. The decline in the dollar, rise in emerging-market equities and a reduction in the number of U.S.-listed public companies may have played a part. However, given the “chasm” in valuation between U.S. and international stocks, it may be time to rebalance portfolios toward markets outside the U.S., Capital Group said in a recent note.
