Prince Alwaleed's High-Profile Holdings Lag Peers After Arrest

(Bloomberg) -- Shares of Citigroup Inc. and Twitter Inc. are underperforming their peer groups Monday after billionaire Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal was among those detained this weekend in a vast purge of the kingdom's leadership. Alwaleed's investment vehicle, Kingdom Holding Co., holds a “substantial” position in the micro-blogging platform and counts the U.S. bank as a “core investment.” The arrest may acutely affect Citigroup's business prospects in the kingdom, according to strategists.
