Pound’s Eight-Year Cycle Sees Collapse Enduring: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- The pound's got further to fall against the dollar and probably won't hit a major low until the first quarter, an analysis of its long-term movements shows. The currency crumbles about every eight years, a period that doesn't end for several months. By then the U.K. should have a new prime minister and be officially discussing its withdrawal from the European Union.
